She was born in Winona, raised in Windom and currently resides in Burnsville. She spent much of her young adult life in San Diego, California, where she became acquainted with the beauty of the ocean and year round sunshine. While in California, she worked for the entertainment industry and can be found as an extra in the crowds of some famous film scenes. Now back in Minnesota she works by day in the mortgage industry. Off hours she finds ways to express her creativity through gardening, cooking, music and of course photography.
